| Q | Open Schwung (Shift + Volume touch + current Track) |
| ? | This help |
After boot (~4 s splash) you are on Virtual Move's home screen. Open Schwung (or Q, or hold Shift, touch the volume knob and press a Track button) opens Schwung's slot editor for that track. Pads switches the current track between drum-rack and chromatic note layout. Buffer sets how many 2.9 ms blocks the engine keeps queued (lower = less latency, more risk of underruns).
| Play / Rec | Start / stop. Rec arms recording (and starts playback); pads are recorded quantised to 16ths. |
| Step buttons | Tap: toggle the last pad's note. Hold a step + tap pads: set exactly which notes it plays. Delete + step: clear. |
| Loop + step · Loop + ← / → | Set the pattern length · grow / shrink by a page (up to 64 steps). |
| ← / → | Page through a long pattern. |
| Mute + Track | Mute that track. Up / Down: octave on melodic tracks. Delete + Rec: clear the track. |
Move's own sequencer is Ableton firmware and can't be emulated; this one plays Schwung's slots the way Move's would. Click toggles a metronome, Mic feeds your audio input to the Move's line-in, Record WAV downloads what you hear.
“MIDI” forwards notes, CCs, pitch bend and pressure from Web MIDI inputs to the engine on cable 2 (Move’s USB-A port), and sends what Schwung outputs there to your MIDI outputs.
